FTC Disclosure and Affiliate Marketing

The Federal Trade Commission requires that I disclose any relationship I have between a content creator, product manufacturer, or service provider when I write about a product, book, service, or any other paid entity.

Here are the guidelines I adhere to as Rob Judge as well as through my company Date Hotter Girls.

I never accept money to do a review. Whenever you read a review, I am writing about a product I either purchased with my own money or was given comp’d access to.

If I post a link in a review, article, or anywhere else on this site or in emails, I sometimes get paid a commission if/when someone purchases that product from my link.

The content, topics, posts, and opinions on both my blog as Rob Judge as well as on my company site, Date Hotter Girls are in no way influenced or dictated by advertisers and/or advertising.

The realities of owning and running a digital publishing company means ensuring my time and efforts are compensated, which allows me to often my costs and focus on creating high quality content. While the newness of digital marketing may make some of the practices seem underhanded or strange, I hope by outlining my practices with transparency, you will better understand the relationship between myself and my company (Date Hotter Girls) and the products, services, and other content I/we promote.
